The action thriller The Beekeeper opens in theaters next week (get your tickets here!), but you don’t have to wait for a peek behind the scenes.
Jason Statham plays Adam Clay, a man who appears to be living a quiet life. The key word there is “appears”: Clay is actually a former operative outside the military’s chain of command, and he takes his duty to protect society very seriously. When someone he loves falls victim to a scam, with tragic consequences, Clay sets out for vengeance.
In the exclusive clip below, Statham and co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Emmy Raver-Lampman give us some insight into Clay’s character. We also get a promise from director David Ayer: Get ready for some incredible action!
