Hugh Jackman will soon be portraying Wolverine for the last time, but it's not the same X-Men mutant we've come to know, love and maybe fear. Instead, this Wolverine is an aging, weary mutant who has put away his claws and just wants to be left alone.
Set in the near future, Logan finds Wolverine retired but still with some fight left within him, even as his healing abilities have slipped away. After the X-Men are wiped out by an evil corporation, Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) seeks out Wolverine for his help. They team with young Laura Kinney (Dafne Keen), a clone of Wolverine who is also known as X-23, in order to save the world.
What about the villains? We've already gotten a look at Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook), a cyborg criminal leader. He's not the only villainous character, of course, and now a new photo of Richard E. Grant identifies him as Rice.
I loved every second of what we saw. It's different, it's brutal, and the girl, man. It's all about that little girl. https://t.co/qBwIDnRNMR

Logan will open in theaters on March 3.
Fox also previewed footage from two more forthcoming blockbusters, Alien: Covenant. and War for the Planet of the Apes. Here are a few reactions, all quite positive.
The #AlienCovenant stuff was crazy, bloody, gnarly & just plain badass. Multiple aliens, hang on to your stomachs - things get gory! https://t.co/QMmykU1NmZ

The ALIEN: COVENANT footage is intense. Lots of blood. Lots of protruding aliens.

Guys the opening was so cool. Steve Zahn's "Bad Ape" looks to be a scene stealer. Funny, soulful. Movie asks: can the world be saved? https://t.co/qE0vRaysd3
