EW.com has published a bunch of new images from movies coming up this year, including a few from Johnny Depp's Public Enemies, Angels & Demons, Where the Wild Things Are and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
As well, The Weinstein Co. has finally announced a U.S. release date for Brad Pitt's next movie, Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds (yes, it's spelled that way): Aug. 21, 2009. The pic's about a group of Jewish-American soldiers whose mission is to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by brutally killing Nazis.
Overall, it looks like 2009 has quite a few blockbusting releases on the horizon--plenty of sequels, sure, but also some intriguing new stuff. What are you looking forward to seeing this year?
