    The Yellow Handkerchief takes careful, deliberate steps crafting its plot -- without leaving a feeling of drag or boredom for the movie audience. It captures the simplicity of human existence and its basic need for bonding, and turns it into a beautiful story. The casting for every character was perfection. The poignant ending was the 'icing on the cake' which left even the MEN misty-eyed.
