  • Must Go!

If you liked "Life is Beautiful'" You'll LOVE this film!

Yes...This movie is very similar to "Life is Beautiful" and
Yes...This movie is at times predictable, but you don't care because everything about it is magical. Roberto Benigni is mastering his talent for writing very whimsical storylines based around chaotic situations. Especially in a time when there's absolutley nothing decent coming out of Hollywood, this film is a huge breath of fresh air.

P.S. Shame on the NY Times and the NY Post for allowing such ignorant a$$holes the resonsiblity of reviewing this beautiful film.

  • Oh No!

    Terrible disappointment

I can't believe that this movie was sooooo horrible! I love Begnini and his wife Nicoletta Braschi in Life is Beautiful, and I always enjoy Jean Reno's performances, but this movie was a pathetic place for them to invest their energy. I am extremely disappointed in Begnini for allowing himself to act and direct to put on this depressing charade for us. Believe me, I never fall asleep at the movies, but, alas, in the middle of this one I almost did! The movie was already extremely boring but I hopeful when I saw that part of it was going to take place in present-day Baghdad because I thought at least the political and social commentary would make it worth seeing…They failed. Begnini should have acted or directed, by doing both things in this film he did neither of them well.
