This Movie is Awful!!!! DON'T WATCH!!!

I can't believe this movie was so bad, like BAD BAD BAD. This movie transcends the word annoying into new levels that I couldn't even bear to see! This Smurfs is like a blend of Garfield humor, and a sense of Enchanted in scenery and plot, but less witted, kindhearted in the moral value, and less exciting. The voice acting was okay, and appropriate for the characters, and even the real-life actors were okay, but... the story was so bitter to see!!! Most children will like this movie, but adults, I will feel bad that you will have to watch this movie. These cute, clumsy, over-edited, little people will bore you, annoy you, and even TORTURE YOU!!! The 3D wasn't even worth it... Parents, I'm doing you a favor, here. SAVE YOUR MONEY ON ANOTHER MOVIE!!! You'll be very disappointed.

    Great for anyone!!! :)

My husband and I took our 5 year daughter to see the Smurfs Saturday night. This was her first trip to the movies as well. She LOVED the movie. We even loved it, especially the ending when the cat said "Are you dead?" and laughed. This movie is for anyone and is especially a great refresher for the ones that grew up watching the smurfs like I did.

The slapstick is very small-kid friendly and even the most adult-friendly jokes...

The bottom line: Any movie that gives Jonathan Winters work is doing something...
