While Marvel's superheroes have kicked off the summer movie season in a big way, there are a few non-comic book related movies out there looking to gain some buzz. With 2012 being an election year, the teaming of Will Ferrell and Zack Galifianakis in the political comedy The Campaign seems like comedy gold.
The film centers on two men, Cam Brady (Ferrell) and Marty Huggins (Galifianakis) who are running against each other for Congress. And since this is Ferrell and Galifianakis facing off against one another, you can pretty much imagine the combination is going to be incredibly stupid and yet, equally funny.
A new clip appeared on the film's official Facebook page to deliver a campaign message. While there's no embed available (for now), you can watch a different campaign commercial below to get a taste for the movie. There are also separate candidate Facebook pages for Ferrell's Brady and Zack's Huggins that recently went live. The Campaign arrives in theaters August 10 and co-stars Jason Sudeikis, Brian Cox and John Lithgow.
