The film was originally slated to drop in mid-July 2015. The new release date for Batman/Superman will be May 6, 2016. That weekend also promises a Marvel/DC showdown with Marvel Studios currently scheduling an untitled movie to release on that date.
The press release from Warner Bros. also states that the studio has set a July 17, 2015 release date for its live-action Peter Pan adventure directed by Joe Wright.
