Update: This giveaway concluded on Dec. 18, 2010. Thanks to all who participated!
Greetings, computer-savvy moviegoers! To welcome you to the Troniverse and hype you up for Tron: Legacy, which hits theaters Friday, Dec. 17, we're giving away $50 in Fandango Bucks to five lucky winners. You can check out our exclusive limited edition Tron designs, one of which features Jeff Bridges looking at himself—about 30 years younger!
Technology these days allows actors to play any age—a real treat for Bridges, who revisits the cyber world he left 28 years ago when the original Tron opened. To enter our giveaway, post a comment to this blog post [one comment per entrant, please] with your answer to the following question: If you could revisit any age, how old would you choose to be and why? While you're pondering the possibilities, check out what's happening on The Grid via our Tron: Legacy Guide. Enter one comment from now until 11:59 p.m. PST, on Dec. 17, 2010, and we’ll randomly select five winners to receive free Fandango Bucks!
Tron 2, Jeff Bridges
I wou;d be the age that I am. Life is an adventure and I take each day as it comes.
I would relieve the year my son was born. Having the knowledge that I have now would make the experience even better!
I wouldn't change my age rather stay right where I am...I just turned 25 and am beginning to make big decisions that will shape my career and the rest of my life. I'm happy where I'm at now :)
I would revisit my 20's. That was such an awesome time of my life.
I would revisit age 11 (1991.) Technology wasn't around so much and we appreciated more. We took responsibility to actually go and get our own hands dirty getting the answers so our brains retained the info more. People had to either call, write a letter, or meet face to face. We're distancing ourselves from each other as technology allows through emails and texts and other inventions creep themselves onto the social scene. I think this is why we no longer really talk to our neighbors, or to our teachers about how our kids are doing in school. It's why kids have stopped trick or treating because no one really knows their neighbors anymore. Also, I had a really awesome birthday that year. I spent it at the beach with my almost entire family.
I would go back to 18 ... graduating high school, starting college, and had the whole world ahead of me .... whish I knew then what I know now ... I would have done things alot differently.
I would go back to age 18 and travel instead of settling down...I still dream of traveling!!!!
15, I would change dropping out of high school and go to college. That way I could have given my children and myself a better life... sigh.
I would go back to right after high school and tell myself not to get involved with certain people. If I knew then what I know now, I would have been doing what I always dreamed of doing, which is nothing close to now.
I'd go back to my olden college days and pick a different major, LOL :-)
Seven. Freedom, Friendship and Fun.
In utero, so I really don't have any worries or responsibilities.
i would go back to when i was45 yr as i was wise enough to know better and still young enoth to enjoy everything
This is a movie my nephew would like to see!
I would love to relive the age 21 again back at the good old days of my fraternity. Reason being is because I was not only in school being a book worm but enjoying memorable "college dude" moments with some of my greatest pals. I sure miss those days. The new Tron movie looks great, looking forward to watching it.
I would go back to the time when I was three years old. It was extremely fun and my parents were a little bit more lenient because I was little. I could also get more attention easily and was able to roam more. Everything also seemed so big.
I would be three years old living the life on the farm in PR. Chasing chickens and playing with puppies.
20 - But it would have to be ON my 20th birthday and I have to go back knowing what I know now. Who wouldn't want to be 20 again with that kind of power?
I would chose to be 10 so that I could see people in my family again who has since passed away, like my grandparents, my brother and my Dad. I miss them all very much and would love to see them again and remake more memories.
I would got back to 18 because I want to relive my college days!
Can't wait to see the Tron movie!
4 years old in 1977 to see Star Wars released again!
