Abduction
We’ve waited long enough to catch a glimpse of what Taylor Lautner will be up to following his time in the Twilight franchise, but I’m happy to announce the wait is now over. The first trailer for Lautner’s upcoming action film Abduction has arrived online, complete with action, suspense, and your obligatory Lautner make-out session … because, ya know, he’s dangerous and sexy.In Abduction, Lautner stars as a teenager who discovers his image on a missing person’s ad and is subsequently chased by a mysterious group of people who look to be up to no good. John Singleton (Boyz in the Hood) directs the action-packed thriller, which pairs Lautner with up-and-comer Lilly Collins, the actress who just signed up to play Snow White. Rise of the Planet of the Apes
We brought you a glimpse of Rise of the Planet of the Apes yesterday with a behind-the-scenes look at the effects work involved in bringing those lovable, society-conquering apes to life on the big screen yet again. Now, however, we have our first trailer, which looks pretty rad. Fans of the previous Planet of the Apes movies should find plenty to anticipate here, as this film will tell the origin story of how the apes went from test subjects in a lab to taking over the world as we know it. James Franco and Freida Pinto star.
Based on this trailer, it seems fairly obvious that the final showdown between apes and man is going to be the highlight of the film (as well as its greatest technical achievement). Lookin’ good so far – what do you think? Rise of the Planet of the Apes hits theaters on August 5th.
