Back in June, we got our first glimpse of Darren Aronofsky's Noah in the form of character stills. Since then, things have quieted down. A storm is brewing though, both in the new poster and a teaser-trailer teaser (say that five times fast) courtesy of Entertainment Tonight.
The footage is a blend of Terrence Malick with Aronofsky working on a grand scale and though the clip lasts about 20 seconds, it looks great. A longer teaser trailer is likely to arrive online later today or possibly tomorrow morning.
We'll update this post should the new trailer arrive later today.
Noah stars Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins, Jennifer Connelly, Logan Lerman and Douglas Booth. The film centers on Crowe's title character who suffers from visions of an apocalyptic flood and takes measures to protect to his family by building a massive boat. The synopsis makes no mention of "two of every animal" but perhaps forthcoming clips and trailers will shed some light onto that biblical reference.
Noah is slated to arrive in theaters March 28, 2014.
