Did you miss out on seeing Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark in IMAX this week? Well, we've got a double dose of good news for you. Not only has the IMAX run been extended, but AMC is hosting an Indiana Jones (non-IMAX) marathon in select theaters tomorrow.
"The re-mastering efforts by Steven, George and their team were incredible and the movie’s hugely successful run in IMAX last week was a sure sign that audiences were excited to see the film again on the big screen. We are thrilled that audiences will have that chance again as part of this extended theatrical run,” said Rob Moore, Vice Chairman of Paramount Pictures.
The Indy madness all leads up to next week's release of the completely restored BluRay colletion featuring all four Indy films and over seven hours of bonus features. We'll have a preview of the collection as well as thoughts from creative directors who worked on the films on Monday.
Revisit Indy one more time in IMAX this weekend or spend the whole day with the daring and dashing archeologist tomorrow beginning at 10:30 a.m.

I went to see Raiders of the Lost Ark last night in IMAX, but goofed and thought the last show started at 10 pm. Turns out it started at 9:10 pm, so I missed it! I was *so* disappointed. Then, I saw this blog and got excited again... just to learn the IMAX run is only extended in 11 cities within the U.S.... none of which are in California. If that wasn't bad enough, I can't even watch the Indiana Jones (non-IMAX) marathon... because there are no AMC theaters within 100 miles of the city I live in. I guess I'll have to settle for seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark in 2D on a regular size screen :(
Well I already saw the imax Raiders of the Lost Ark, but I might see the non-imax marathon.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
