Things are beginning to heat up on the New Moon front as yesterday a brand new image from the film was released featuring those two knuckleheads Bella and Edward in a weird sort of marriage proposal pose looking all lusty and passionate and concerned. Ever notice that? Ya know, the fact that Bella always looks concerned or upset or freaked out? I mean, sure, you've fallen in love with a hot teenage vampire and things tend to get a little dangerous when you dabble in the supernatural world, but it wouldn't hurt the chick to smile once and awhile is all I'm saying. Anyway, check out the photo below … but prepare to swoon loudly!
In related news, a tiny 43-second piece of Death Cab For Cutie's "Meet Me On The Equinox" has been released online, and it's of importance to you Twilight fans because the song is the lead single on the film's soundtrack – which also features folks like Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, Muse, Iron & Wine and Perry Farrell. The official New Moon soundtrack hits stores on October 20th, exactly one month before the film is released (which should give you enough time to memorize all the songs so you can sing along when/if they pop up in the film). You can pre-order the soundtrack over at its official website, and the real dedicated fans can even buy a Limited Edition version for $500 that comes with some kind of plaque with your name on it. (Tip: They'd sell more if it was a plaque with Robert Pattinson's name on it, but what do I know.)
