Well, now we know what happens if you piss off one of the biggest directors in town! According to Deadline Hollywood, Megan Fox is officially out of Transformers 3. Apparently the writers are "giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story" for the third installment of the lucrative franchise. And it was all Michael Bay's decision.
I guess that's what happens when you compare your director to 'Hitler' in a magazine article!

From a strictly male point of view, I think Megan will be missed. She is hot. No doubt. Since "Spikes'" girlfriend in the cartoon was blonde, maybe the new girl will will be too. However, since so many changes were made from the cartoon and comic, who knows. It just goes to show that some directors and producers have an inability to accepts critiicism. Then again, I don't know what promtled Megan to compare Michael to HItler.

I don't see how they can tie up the whole I love you thing with out her are they going to send him a letter from her and say its over. Or have like a house explode that she is supposedly in. Think how ever it goes I will not like it will probably still watch the movie to see how it ends but i liked the two of them together so we will see.

I think that the director os making a very very big mistake if he drops meagan fox, because without her, the movie will be a total bust, because she made the movie, and besides I don't think that shia will be to impressed by this newcomer, because I think that shia and megan made a very good team and they work really great together, so I think that the director should rethink his decision.

That's unfortunate. From what I gather Megan Fox was not happy with Michael Bay as a director. I feel she'll be missed. However when one beautiful woman leaves a production, there are 100 other beautiful women waiting to take her place.

Clearly what everyone is missing in this controversy is that "big" question: 'WHY THE HELL ARE THEY MAKING ANOTHER ONE, AND WHY USE THE SAME DIRECTOR?" Transformers 2 was barely tolerable, were it not for the all too brief presence of Megan Fox. The star is a little putz with huge nostrils, the CG robots are cheezy, the story is about as deep as a bottle cap, and the movie was full of goofs and mistakes (like Shia playing dead in the big battle, but wincing when the actors come to his aid and kick up a little dirt). The movie by all accounts lost millions of dollars here in America. Piece of crap!!!!

I dont care that she is gone, but I do think its stupid that they are writing a new woman for Shia. I think it will destroy his (Sam's) credibility. Spiderman , or Batman never wanted another woman. Even after they got all famous. Even in spiderman 3 when he was tempted the writers showed him sticking with his core beliefs in order to overcome evil. And I know he is not superhero but he is the hero of this series.

also I have to say when you make a decision you shouldn't make it based on how you feel you should think of what is best, which I think would be to keep Megan Fox... a lot of people, I think, were expecting a, Indiana Jones 4, happy ending
you have to say though, after what happened in the second movie, it's going to be hard to come up with a good, and I do stress good storyline... for instance that whole scene where shia was dead for about 7 minutes, I was pretty much thinking alright together forever... but having said that there are consequences for every action!!!

She became too big for her mouth and brains. Many stupid and political comments do nothing to help her career unless perhaps she wants to do movies for Al Gore. Plenty of hotties and wannabes in Hollywood and more tailing in every day. No she will not be missed at all. The second we see the new hottie, Mr. Bay will be thanked for the choice of the new hottie. But unfortunately the new one will likely fall into the "i'm so good lookin I can get away with showing how dumb I am" trap like Fox did.
