At first glance it might be kind of hard to imagine someone would want to endure over 15 hours of consecutive Marvel movies leading up to the midnight showing on The Avengers in 3D.
AMC Theaters announced today that it is adding more shows at participating locations for their May 3rd event which features six Marvel movies, screening in this order – Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor in 3D, Captain America: The First Avenger 3D and The Avengers 3D. The price for the marathon of movies is $40 and includes an event lanyard and limited edition Avengers character RealD 3D glasses, while supplies last. The marathon begins at 11:30 a.m.
According to AMC, the following ten theaters have sold out:
You can jump over to the AMC site to find out the nearest theater that is hosting the marathon. I'll also be covering the event and live Tweeting between features.
Are you participating in this marathon day of movies and which Marvel film (besides Avengers) are you most looking forward to seeing on the big screen again?

If there were a theatre closer than 150 miles away that was doing this, I would totally take the day off work and go. Alas, there is not. So I will just have to settle for my plan that's already in place, to watch one movie per weekend leading up to The Avengers. And I have Thor and Captain America in 3D as well, so I'm not missing anything, really. Gonna be watching The Incredible Hulk this weekend. :D

I just ordered my ticket today for Dallas. Already have the day off from work. I'm going to be beat the next day at work, but I'm looking forward to it. Most especially Thor and Captain America since I haven't seen either yet, but I may see them beforehand anyway.

I would have loved to do the marathon day but the fact three of the films are in 3D is just plain ridiculous. A enough to do eye damages to your eye. I can not even settle with one movie in 3D. Thanks for ruining the event with 3D!
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
"Squirrel!"
