'Iron Man 2' Trailer Will Rock Your Socks Off!

After patiently waiting for what seems like forever, Paramount has finally released the long-awaited trailer for Iron Man 2…and it's freakin' awesome! What I really like about Iron Man is that here we have one of the only costumed superhero franchises where everyone knows who's in the costume. That's obviously a main selling point in this trailer, as it shows how Tony Stark (aka Iron Man, aka Robert Downey Jr.) is really going to town with the whole Iron Man celebrity image.

Of course there's a flipside to the whole celebrity angle, and since people know you're the one inside the costume, it makes it that much easier for terrifying villains like Whiplash (Mickey Rourke) to come find you. And Whiplash is definitely a pretty badass villain – I'm already petrified of the dude and he's only popped up in, like, 30 seconds of this trailer. But aside from villains and a quick shot of Scarlett Johnasson pounding on some unfortunate soul, I think you'll all really love the final shot of Iron Man and War Machine gunning down a whole bunch of other robots.

Most anticipated movie of 2010? I say hellz yes! What do you think? Iron Man 2 hits theaters on May 7th.

Watch the trailer below or over on Apple.

Ironman was another one of those hero movies I hated growing up but was surprised with when I saw the newer versions. Looking forward to it.
