No Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight Rises
The Dark Knight, Superman, X-Men First Class
Fanboy Fix, The Dark Knight Rises
Maybe. But Johnny Depp is a hell of a good actor that many thought why was he in Pirates Of The Carribean as well and look how he faired off in the end. He's good IMHO. Alice In Wonderland was only a smidgen of his acting chops. I think he can pull of a dark Joker as we've seen/read in newer comics, video games etc.
I nominate Johnny Depp as one of the actors for the next Joker
Doesnt have the voice for it. He's too ifeminate and weird. The only thing he really has going for him is the hair. He also doesnt have that creepy body language. He's use to more loopy roles thst require blamboyancy (Pirates) and dancing (Sweeney Todd) than evil and jittery movements. Personally, I just dont see him being able to pull it off..
I am good with heath not being in the next one but I also do not think they should try to replace him. I know it's hard to think of batman without joker but it's not impossible. I don't believe that ledger's performance could or should be replaced or overshadowed by a weaker copy. I'm just sayin'!
Not replace him...but just use some extra footage to bridge the two movies like they did with Scarecrow..that would have been cool. CGI?---not so much a fan...
johny depp did i here right ? why not.
With the new technology I think they could actually use Heath. Look at what they did with Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy. If it should happen. How far are we from having a "new" movie with Marilyn Monroe, or James Dean, or Humprey Bogart. or Brando!!! The possibilities would be endless! I think Ed Norton could play an interesting Joker. I know! I know! Mel Gibson!!!! Just kidding! Routh should get another shot at playing the man from Krypton, but please don't make him imitate Christopher Reeves! That was a huge mistake. Revamp the whole series, pretend that the last movie never happened. Like they did with Alien 3. They should do something with the Bizzaro World.
The point of having great legendary actors who's great pictures and performances go on living decades after they've passed is to keep their iconic and legendary performances alive. It would be the biggest insult and epic failure to try and do CGI actors, especially ones like Dean, Bogart, Monroe and Brando. Plus, even if people wanted to see that stuff happen (which they don't) there can never be any more movies like the ones Bogart, Dean, Hepburn, etc. were in because that Hollywood died a long time ago. Now, all Hollywood is about is money, remakes and more gore. Hollywood is dead and therefore the true Hollywood, the Bogart, Hepburn, Dean and Brando Hollywood is dead and I wouldn't have it any other way because that's why they are famous
While Heath cannot easily be replaced, I think Edward Norton could do the Joker! Good choice for Superman with Hans Zimmer, he'll tweek it just right. Still think Routh deserves another shot, not his fault the story sukd last movie! X-men movie is a good idea to follow up where wolverine movie ended, but all the freakin teen idols being cast is kinda LAME, next thing ya know Justin Freakin Bieber will be cast....LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I definitely wanted to see Ledger in the new Dark Knight movie. If the family is okay with it, why not? I'd pay ebay good money for some of that cut footage...
think about this... What about the actor that plays the neoghbor in Revolutionary road. and co-stars in the hbo show boardwalk empire. plays a great creepy roll and looks like he and ledger would be brothers in the paint. and Superman will always be great, and X-men is x-men , i like!
Yeah I could see that. He was also in the remake of Funny Games..if you havent seen it--do. Its incredibly creepy and he's insanely evil.
Howie Mandel!? Are you kidding? Howie Mandel cannot act let alone play a character as complex as Joker. Remember Little Monsters?
If you want to replace a great joker with someone who wouldn't be good for the part, use macaulay culkin or his lil bro. Blah!
I am disappointed that Nolan isn't Helming Superman anymore, but at least his image won't be tainted now if the movie ends up sucking donkey ****.
As far as the new Xmen movie... I doubt that anyone really cares that that guy above is in the movie. We want to know which mutants for sure will be present. Not who'll play one of the mutant haters. They can seriously use almost any actor who plays or has played a villain. It really won't matter. Look at that weirdo senator from Xmen 1...
On the contrary, I believe the only reason you don't care about Ray Wise being in the cast is because you don't know of his work. If you knew of his work you would think differently. Go watch the Twin Peaks series and then tell me that you don't care he's in it. I can think of a good 45 people including myself that love the idea and I can't even imagine how many more people love it. What I'm saying is that if you knew him you would know he would be a great villian which is probably what he'll be in the new X-Men movie.
No Ledger. I think that is best, Heath's Joker in DK was perfect. I would like to see Howie Mandel given a shot at the role of Jokert
Too bad, I wanted Ledger to be in the new Batman movie.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
