I can't wait for Star Trek 2. Its been too long already. The sooner they get off of their duffs to get it started the better!
I'm so eager for all three films, I can hardly wait.
Looking forward to seeing all 3 Major films BATMAN - The Dark Knight Rises, X-Men: First Class interesting re-tro filming opening, and Star Trek 2 "all" in 2012 that's gonna be another exciting fireworks year of films.
Being a 52 yr old mother and grandmother, I LOVE IT. Brings back fond memories. If it was me I would definitely go for it1
The guy saved to world! What do you mean too young? Stop listening to fanboys!
Wow. I am very impressed by that mock-title First Class film. Somebody in Hollywood hire this guy, if he isn't already!
x-men title sequence is amazing. I'd be psyched to sit in the theater and see that play!
Love the X Men Title sequence brings me back to the days when I used to watch the cartoon.
An X Men Reboot would be awesome sometime that's the only comicbook movie reboot I will be down for.
I always thought that in original Trek canon, Kirk was the youngest captain in the history of Star Fleet.
Yeah, he was--but the original Kirk was still 34 when he became captain.
Chris Pine was born in 1980, so they are not far off. By the way, where did you get "34" from? (Good to hear from a fellow classic Trek fan! :) )
Oops, I meant 31, not 34. Born 2233, and then promoted to captain 2264. (It's inevitable when you grow with both parents being Trekkers lol. My fav is DS9, then TNG, Voyager and TOS kinda tied, and then I pretend Enterprise doesn't exist.)
Well then I guess he is not too young after all.
nope, not at all! :D
Can't wait for all 3 films. Great cast in all the movies. No complaints here.
kirk is not too young to be captain... history has changed, what we know about original star trek doesn't exsit. i think its great that i dont know whats going to happen next. no more expectaions about how thing are or should be. thats what will make the sequel good...
You say that now, but if one of the main characters were to die(Kirk, Scott, Sulu, Spock, whoever) everyone would be up in arms.
Star Trek history has changed, but the fans will, and do, demand some things never do.
do you know somthing i dont? is someone supposed to die in the next movie? i wasnt put off by the death of professor dumbledore, and who knows maybe the new crewmate will be cool.i just want to keep an open mind so i enjoy a movie.
I wouldn't worry about that to much... as long as the main characters aren't wearing a red uniform, they'll survive anything.
HEADS UP ACTORS: Just say NO to RED.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
