Anyone who has seen Jason Momoa's role in Game of Thrones knows that he can easily pull off playing Conan.

Momoa owned Khal Drogo. If he plays Conan with the same intensity he showed as Drogo, he will be a success. Anyone who hasn't watched the first season of Game of Thrones, you don't know what you're missing. Such a shame that HBO is one of the few places where you can find an actual top quality television series these days.

Not only was he perfect as Drogo but he was perfect on SGA as Ronon Dex. He was the intimidator of the team. Knock heads and ask questions later. As long as the script is well written and the director doesn't foul it up. Jason will deliver. I will agree, they have "dolled" him up on this film. I didn't recognize him for a bit. Look at some of his clips from Stargate Atlantis and GT. You'll see they got the right guy. Though, martial arts have been his thing, this will be different.

Intriguing. Glad it will stay more in-tune than the original so I can see what it originally was instead of the Schwarzenegger version I'll be looking out for it this fall...

I don't think this guy fits the Conan look actually either. Wish they would have gotten Tom Doty, he would have made the best Conan ever, IMO. He even looked as if the modern day Conan in the movie he was in. This will just be another high priced hack and slash that might make Arnold's Conan look good again when made by these guys..

This is an insult to the comic book and to Conan! What a pathetic choice for a new Conan! The ROCK would have been more suited and ps...he can ACT! I give this movie 2 thumbs down with a loud HELL NO!

The director of this movie also did Pathfinder which is one of THE worst movies (sorry Karl Urban) I have ever seen. This guy is a MTV video director and has no right remaking a classic like Conan.
