Pacific Rim 2: Confirming rumors that have been circulating since the release of Pacific Rim last summer, Guillermo del Toro will direct a sequel, Pacific Rim 2, and Universal has scheduled it for release on April 17, 2017. Snow White and the Huntsman

Snow White and the Huntsman 2: Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) is in "early talks" to direct a sequel to 2012's Snow White and the Huntsman. Reportedly, the sequel will focus on the Huntsman, with Chris Hemsworth reprising the role. Charlize Theron is also expected to return as the evil queen, though Snow White, played by Kristen Stewart, may be reduced to a cameo role, if she appears at all. [The Wrap]

With the U.S. Men's National Team advancing to the next round of the World Cup, Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow) is in talks to direct a remake of Victory, a thriller about World War II prisoners of war plotting an escape during a soccer game against the German national team.
