No Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight Rises
Well, it took about 24 hours, but Heat Vision managed to track down Christopher Nolan at an Inception DVD release party and grill him about whether or not there was any truth behind the rumor that Heath Ledger would cameo in The Dark Knight Rises via old footage from Dark Knight or CG wizardry. 
The good (or bad) news, depending on which side of the fence you're on, is that Nolan confirmed they won't be doing anything with Ledger, saying, "I heard the rumor. We're not doing that." So there you go – no Ledger. Do you agree or disagree?

Now that Christopher Nolan is working hard on the next Batman movie, he's officially turned over Superman – a film which he originally set up when he brought the concept to Warner Bros. – to Zack Snyder, who will now lead the charge and (hopefully) begin casting all the big roles soon.
In the meantime, those movie music nerds out there might be happy to hear that Hans Zimmer will be scoring the new Superman movie. Whether he'll riff on the old iconic score that Bryan Singer re-used for his film, we don't know. But we do know that the film's music is now in good hands.
X-Men: First Class Adds Ray Wise
Yes, believe it or not, X-Men: First Class is still casting! This time legendary character actor Ray Wise has hopped onboard the 2011 blockbuster.
He'll be playing the Secretary of State of the United States, according to an interview with IGN. He's set to film his role in a couple weeks, and said it may "touch on" sequences that include some special effects. Um, it's an X-Men film, so won't every scene include at least some special effects?
