If you backed me up against a wall, used your knuckles to knock on my head and demanded, "Hello! Hello! What's your favorite movie of all time? Think, Davis. Think!" ... the answer would be Back to the Future

Not only does it come with what I consider to be a perfect screenplay that hits all the right notes, from comedy and romance to drama and edge-of-your-seat tension, but it's about cool things like time travel and it stars a cool kid who knows how to flip up his skateboard just by stepping on it (seriously I thought this was the greatest thing when I was a kid). A kid who's got a great girlfriend, the perfect car and is tasked with taking on the ultimate battle -- not to save the world, but to save his own existence.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future -- and of the future date (October 21, 2015) Marty, Doc and Jennifer travel to in Back to the Future II -- Fandango had a chance to attend a special reunion screening with most of the cast in attendance, all of it to promote the brand new 30th anniversary Blu-ray collection, featuring all three Back to the Future movies, that's now available to own.

Here are some highlights from our time on the red carpet, via my takeover of Fandango's Instagram.

First, my ride for the night.

Michael J. Fox just chillin' on a DeLorean. How cool is that?

Bonus: Michael J. Fox tells us where he would go if time travel were real.

Back to the Future cocreator Bob Gale on the one piece of future tech that didn't make it into Back to the Future II.

Bonus: Gale expands on the insane-sounding Slamball sport, explains the deleted Back to the Future II scene and why they couldn't put it in the movie.

Here's Huey Lewis' prediction for where we'll be in another 30 years from now.

Bonus: I ask Lewis for the inspiration behind Back to the Future's most iconic song, "The Power of Love."

Lorraine! Here, Lea Thompson reveals the version of her character she liked playing the most (as well as why she'd love to play her again).

Mayor Goldie Wilson (Donald Fullilove) stopped by to share the one line that's quoted back to him the most. (We bet you can guess what it is.)

What ever happened to Marty and Jennifer anyway? The original "Jennifer," Claudia Wells, has a prediction for where the couple ended up once the movies were over.

And finally... I mean, c'mon. There was only one proper way to end the night: behind the wheel of what's arguably the most recognized movie vehicle in cinema history.

The Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Trilogy is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
