“When creating this Illustration for the movie Steve Jobs I knew I wanted to do a few things. I wanted to show Michael Fassbender as the iconic main character, Steve Jobs. I wanted to somehow showcase what the movie will be about and I wanted to add some sort of MAC NERDINESS to the piece, since I am a MAC NERD myself. The background pattern consists of the three computers he created, which are highlighted in the movie (the first Macintosh, the NEXT computer, and the first iMac). My one bit of MAC NERDINESS, is the use of the old MAC OS FACE ICON behind Fassbender/Jobs. Fassbender’s profile actually mimics the profile half of the classic OS Face Icon.”
