A beautiful, moving film
I decided to see this movie after scanning the soaring critic's ratings, and I am so glad I did. It is a beautiful, moving look at what family means, and at the steep challenges facing those dealing with the issue of gay marriage within the context of a socially conservative society (here, small town Tennessee). The characters are believable, their situations compelling. The film is long and some scenes could have been trimmed a bit, but it's well worth your time.
