Great Movie!
This winner of 6 Academy awards directed by Robert Zemeckis starring Tom Hanks is about a man named Forrest Gump who is such a simple man but lives an incredible life of once in a lifetime moments. Such as meeting a few presidents and winning the medal of honor! There are a lot of pros to this movie but the best pro of them all is the acting job done by Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks plays a hard role but makes it look easy. Good job Tom! This is not his only movie that he acts magnificiently in however. Go watch Saving Private Ryan! This film also has a lot of events that we can relate to as well. Such as his girlfriend leaving him, losing his close friend, and losing his mom. The movie is a unique drama as it uses not only tragic events to keep you involved but it uses humor. Such as Bubba always talking about the shrimp business. One bad thing about the movie is that it does drag on as it IS 2 and a half hours long! But overall this movie is a great movie in my opinion. One of my favorites!
