    Great Love Story

I truly LOVE IT! It was long but completely 100% worth it! The story, direction, music, and ACTING was all well done Renée Zellweger deserved her Oscar for her performances in this movie. All so it does an amazing job showing you how grim it was during that time .If you love a good love tale this is for you.

LOVED IT! MUST SEE AND READ!

The movie was wonderful. I once it took it over to a friend's house, her brother and his friends (about 18yrs old), stopped in the family room to see what we were doing and ended up staying through the whole movie! The movie is wonderfully done, after see it I also read the book, which is also amazing!

    COLD MOUNTAIN

Anthony Minghella's cinematic adaptation of Charles Frazier's Civil War epic COLD MOUNTAIN is nothing short of brilliant. An all star cast including Jude law, Renee Zellwegger, and Nicole Kidman shine in very true to life portrayals of people forced to strugle amidst the bloody ravages of the time. Law has rarely been better as a shy young farm worker who takes a liking to Nicole Kidman's well-bred minister's daughter when she is brought by her father (Donald Sutherland) to live in a mountain homestead community. When they become separated by the war, Law makes a personal pact with himself to return to her no matter what which leads him astray and awol. Many graphic scenes of brutality makes this film the realistic flip side of GONE WITH THE WIND. Stunning photography and productions values throughout this thought-provoking film certainly ranks it as one of the best of its kind!
