    Not What I Expected :-(

    I don't have the heart to rate it a no, since I'm such a big Chicago fan. However, like many other long time fans have already said, I too expected "An Evening of Holiday Music and Greatest Hits". In 90 minutes, we saw about ten songs and I don't think any of them were shown in their entirety. Either the intro was skipped or it was otherwise shortened. Even the interviews were chopped up and over edited, giving the whole film a disjointed feel. I could have done without the brief, repetitive shots of their worldwide concert venues. They added absolutely nothing to the film. And the intro and ending of the film still have me scratching my head.

    I thought this presentation did a very nice job of capturing both the music of this legendary band as well as the personalities of the individual members. I think it's a shame that this is only offered on two days and I certainly hope that a DVD is made....I'll be the first to buy it!

    If you haven't seen CHICAGO in concert recently, you don't know what you're missing. Check out this movie and definitely see them in concert the next time they're in your area!

    A Christmas gift for Chicago fans

    I've been a fan of this incredible band since the early 1970s and am so happy they decided to put out a product like this! Having met the guys on several occasions, I can attest to their genuine likeability and, more especially, to their musical dedication. All are consummate musicians who love to play for audiences around the world. This film takes the viewers along with them as they circle the globe, delighting crowds everywhere with their music and their friendliness. I loved the practice session footage, the backstage bantering and especially the concert cuts that featured some of my favorites, notably Hard to Say I'm Sorry/Getaway, which brought everyone in the theater to their feet...just like we are at all the concerts I've attended. I was disappointed at the number of people who turned out, but this kind of effort is very new for Chicago and I hope it catches on enough that the band will do this again. It's a must-see and pure joy for Chicago fans.
