Well Crafted and Enjoyable Movie
This is a well told story in the fine tradition of Truffaut. It is also an homage to movie making and how editing can make or break a movie. This may not be a movie for traditional American taste buds, but if one is a fan of film that does not focus on violence primarily to gain your attention and also loves the fine-tuned development of character and a deft touch in dealing with the gamut of human emotions, this will be a film for you.
The directing was first class and everyone of the actors was stellar in defining their character. It was one of the most satisfying movie experiences my wife and I have had in long time. We are fairly certain that a second viewing would reveal some elements that we likely missed in our first viewing.
This is probably not a film for children, nor for those who prefer action to well-scripted dialog.
