    Beautiful

One of the most beautifully written stories of all time. This movie will make you want to jump in there and join the story. The emotion and the broken-heart people experience through this movie seems to reach out and grab you. I am one of the "number 1" fans of this production, and it will live on forever. I am certain of it.

    BEST MUSICAL EVER!!!

What Andrew Lloyd Weber has done with The Phantom of the Opera is amazing to begin with, but my jaw just dropped to the floor when I saw the movie. It's amazing how many extra little details can be added to a musical when it is on the big screen instead of onstage. And though you don't get the live performance, the entire soundtrack is top notch quality. I mean, who knew that Gerard Butler could sing that well? Right from the get go, the plot of the movie reels you in and never lets you go until the end. I'd have to say that my favorite part in the entirety of the movie is when they raise up the chandelier in the burned down opera house and everything come back to life with the overture blasting through the speakers. The combination of the music and screenplay is just mesmerizing. I think it is very easy to say that both the movie and the musical will live on to be classics for many more years. Let's just hope that Andrew Lloyd Weber dishes out a few more numbers before our time is up.
