    A flash back to childhood!!

When given the opportunity to see Alvin and the chipmunks I was not gonna pass it up. I saw an advance screening on Saturday December 8th. All I knew was what I had seen from the previews and what was in the plot. It was GREAT!!! I remember alvin from when I was a kid. Seeing them in live action with CGI animation was even better that the cartoons. The story is great and the music is a blast. I think parents should see this with their children because it talks about parents setting boundries for chldren and why it is important for children to have rules. It by no means preaches but it does get through with the children AKA the chipmunks understanding what family and rules are all about. A 10 of 10 rating in my book. I plan on seeing it again and buying the DVD when it comes out. While teens and adults see I am legend, Parents and children can see Alvin and the chipmunks and they wont be dissappointed.

    Fun for everyone

What a great movie for the whole family! Everyone will want a chipmunk under the tree! We enjoyed the whole movie....and it was amazing, you didn't
need crude adult humor thrown in to make it enjoyable for the adults. I'm glad someone got it right. It was great!

    Couldn't stop smiling

Most of us grew up watching Alvin and the Chipmunks. I did, my Mom did... and when I heard they were making a live-action movie of the three chips, I was worried. I couldn't help but think about Garfield, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and all the other live-action movies that made a disgrace of the original cartoons... but, I really enjoyed this. Maybe it was Theodore's adorable animatedface or Alvin's sarcastic lines, but it quickly won me over. I only wished they would have introduced the Chipettes at the end for a sequel.
