Vudu Children’s Privacy Policy

Our online services are generally intended for users of all ages. This Vudu Children’s Privacy Policy supplements the Fandango Privacy Policy referenced elsewhere on Vudu, and only applies with respect to personal information (as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Act (“COPPA”)) collected online through the Vudu service either from the viewing of children’s content on Vudu or from children who we have actual knowledge are under the age of 13 (“child” or “children”). Parents or guardians may contact privacy@fandango.com to review personal information provided by his or her child, have such information deleted, and/or refuse to allow further collection or use of such information.

1. How We Collect and Use Information About Children’s Content Views on Vudu.

If Vudu seeks to collect personal information from a child that is not subject to an exception under COPPA, we will first ask for a parent or guardian’s consent to that collection as required by law.

Vudu may collect the following information from children for the purposes described:

• Vudu and our third-party technology partners employ persistent identifiers to gather certain limited technical information. This information does not include name, contact information, or any other similar information.

The children’s content viewing information we collect is limited to that which is necessary to support our services. This includes information such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, the type of device a visitor uses, the visitor’s device operating system, unique device identifiers, and other information about a visitor’s session.

We may use the information collected from viewing children’s programming to deliver the services, content and technology features and to maintain or analyze the functioning of the services. We do not use children’s viewing information to track visitors across other websites.

2. Restrictions on Disclosure of Information About Children’s Content Views on Vudu.

We will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose the personal information from the viewing of children’s content to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
