I was very excited about Zero Dark Thirty. However, I found this movie to be tedious and uninvolving. I was very disappointed with the lack of character development and didn't feel anything for Jessica Chastain's limp character. The movie left me feeling flat and void of that espionage, fast paced chain of command and brain flow. I didn't learn anything I didn't already know nor did I become more interested, as details were slim or poorly portrayed throughout the movie. I must say, however, the BLACK OPS raid was very thrilling and exciting. Oddly enough, I felt more compassion and interest in the Black Ops team that made the raid that fateful night, even though we saw so little of them. I would rather have been watching "Homeland."

If you can look past all the controversy surrounding this movie and just take it for what it is, you won't be disappointed. You feel as if you're part of the action and even though it's no secret how it ends, the suspense lies in the how-you-get-to-the-end. Very well done!

I enjoyed very much how the two women tracked down the information and painstakingly built a case while the torture and hard interrogations yielded either wrong or no information. It was like a detective story unfolding. The acting was wonderful and the actual raid and escape the last half hour of the film were hair raising even through you knew the outcome. Very good film, well directed. I recommend it.

This movie is as good as other fans and critics say that it is. I have trouble normally with movies this long but not this one. It is so well written and directed that there was no concept of time passing. Deeply engrossing ! Acting by all concerned is award worthy.

Very intriguing movie with characters that reflect our history pefectly. Deep and interesting back story with a satisfying ending. Not a movie that I would see again for a while, but definitely one of m absolute favorites.
