The movie starts off immediately with a black out, replaying 911 calls for
9/11, you are drawn in and continue with years of work by multiple persons,
the movie illustrates the painstaking, anguishing decisions made by these
persons, and while a death is never for glory, it reminds the public "freedom"
is not free. Well done.

I enjoyed this movie. I thought it was made well and told the story well. Even though it's based on real events and you might know what's going to happen, I still found it very suspenseful. I could see why Jessica Chastain has won best actress awards so far. You'll get your money's worth on this movie.

Despite knowing the outcome, this movie remained gripping throughout. It is beyond me why Kathryn Bigalow did not receive a Best Director nomination. Everyone should see this film!

Extreamlly well made movie! Kathryn Biglowe did an amazing job! I loved it, not for kids younger than 16 though. A bombing is out of no where and might freak out a few people. a few intense shootings. Many bombs go off and there is a death of a supporting character. It is a long movie, like the length of The Hobbit. The characters do use ***&^, ****, *****, and ***casually. Better not let your young ones go :)!

I cannot say that this film is "good".
Being based on a true story makes it significant, but also tedious and too long.
Tha acting is competent but not outstanding . I feel like, because it covers such sensitive material, people are judging it to be better than it is. If had not been based on truth it never would have been a movie. I understand the director's quest, and it is a noble one, but the result is not satisfying.
