A must see!

I do not often see military movies, but as someone who is interested in history, this movie is a must see. Simply put, this movie was well done. The acting was great and was not over done. It moved at a good pace, and did not get "stuck" anywhere! It depicts a recent time of American history very well, and really gives a global picture concerning the search for OBL. I was very nervous about the controversial scenes concerning torture. They are a few, but they are done as tastefully as possible to get the point across. I do not feel it glorified anything, but rather shows the watcher why these programs no longer exist!

Zero Dark Thirty

Very well done movie, showing the obsession of one person. I do have questions on how factual the actual killing of Bin Laden was but the premise was there.

Surprise Thriller

I came into this movie with low expectations, being more interested in how they would bring the manhunt for Bin Laden to the screen. Realistically, it's a lot of information that isn't typically "public knowledge" and they seemed to have some highly credible sources. That's pretty interesting in and of itself. How that translates to a movie is something else altogether. Without giving anything away, the movie touches on a huge range of human emotion and literally had me struggling to face the same emotions that were brought upon by the 9/11 situation. Patriotism versus human rights, revenge versus defense. Zero Dark Thirty covered it all. In many cases I was uncomfortable during interrogation scenes or on the edge in action sequences that frankly made it feel like you were a part of the strike team. (We all know how this ends so I'm not spoiling anything). Suspenseful and gripping, it's the way they tale us for a ride that that makes it all worth while
