Mel Brook's "Young Frankenstein" is a comedic masterpiece. It's one of those films where you're laughing so hard you'll miss something else! So see it...often! Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life!!!

there isn't anything better than Wilder and Brooks' loving and hysterical homage to the Monster and his Master. No plateaus in this movie - just two hours of loving laughter. It should be shown more often on the big screen

I saw this movie in the theater with a friend, the first movie that I was ever allowed to go to without my parents, when I was only 11 years old! (Okay, times have changed. Two 11 year old girls ae not likely to be let off at the movies nowadays.) Now my kids are almost 11 and 13 years old, and they would love this movie. A fun irreverant spoof on the old Frankenstein theme! A true blast from the past! I cannot wait to share it with them. Parents should know that there are numerous sexual references, although very little is actually shown overtly. This is a great way to share a bit of the past with this generation of tweens/teens. If your kids are ready for this type of film, you should GO.
