  Listen to the title - Don't mess with the Zohan!

  I am normally a big fan of Adam Sandler. His movies are usually funny and comedic without crossing the line into crass and degrading. However, on this one, the Zohan is, well, skanky. The abnormally gifted Israeli commando has all sorts of comedic possibilities which are wasted on the Zohan's constant shtupping of every woman he comes in contact with - except his true love. The Mideast peace solution - every capable young man should be pleasuring every woman above sixty. That's it in a nut shell. The possibilities with the story were vast and, unfortunately, mostly unexplored. Adam - give us the nice guys finish first character you play so well - Happy Gilmore, Longfellow Deeds, or anyone but "Little Nicky" - and you've got a hit. Anything else you do seems to rhyme with "hit" but have an extra consonant at the beginning. It's spanglish - get it? Sorry Adam - this one's too crude to enjoy the good humor in it. Kinda like Borat.

  PG-13???? No Way! Totally innapropriate

  I took my 13 year old to this movie expecting the sexual content to fall in the PG-13 range. We left halfway through, after the lead character had sex with hundreds of women. This movie was irresponsibly rated. I'm not sure who could possibly think this movie would be appropriate for anyone under 17. I feel it is this type of trash that has desensitized people and allowed the general public to think it is okay to subject children to the crude, nasty, and neglectful portrayal of a beautiful thing. Sex should not be presented to children the way Adam Sandler did in this movie. He should be ashamed that he did not take more responsibility! A PG-13 rating markets it to the teen population and we wonder why there are so many teen preganancies out there!?!?!? We should all wise up and realize that this garbage should not be allowed out there under a PG-13 rating. This movie should definitely be rated R or NC-17!! Be careful parents. Do not assume that this movie is acceptable for teens!

  one of the worst ever. we all walked out

  This is just gross and really not funny at all. I can t believe it got a pg-13 rating, there are just too many sexually related jokes and situations. It is just overbearingly bad. We like Sandler, but it got so bad we walked out after half an hour, when he is shown in bed with an older woman. The worst use of my money ever! Absolutely do not take children, and it s just not funny for adults. Sad, really that hollywood has to put out garbage like this.

  So dumb it was actually funny, but put your teenager hat on

  I am a 42 yr old male. Based on the reviews I had already read, I decided to pretend I was 15 or 16 again when I went to see this movie. I was prepared for something as raunchy, crude, and overtly suggestive as possible. Good thing I read those reviews, because they were right!
  
  HOWEVER, underneath all the lewd innuendos and unclad derrieres, there was a humorously told story with about as many lighthearted cultural and ethnic slurs as could be crammed into a couple of hours. The ingenious writers spared no expense, poking fun at men, women, politicians, Israelis, Palestinians, Arabs, the military, Real Estate developers, women who've had plastic surgery, and many other groups I'm sure I'm forgetting.
  
  At the root of it all was actually a very nice moral message that everybody in America should just GET ALONG with each other regardless of ethnicity. That's a message I completely agree with. As a virtual teenager, I LOVED the movie. As an adult, it was still pretty enjoyable!

  No...no..no shame on you Adam Sandler

  The thing that was most embarrcing is that I wathched this with my mom and her boyfriend. Way to many sex jokes. I think that the director tried to hard to make this movie. If you really want to watch a funny Adam Sandler then watch Happy Gilmore or Big Daddy. This was just terrible. Watch it at your own risk.

  waste of time and no way appropriate for kids

  Went to see this with my wife, sure were glad our kids (18-21) were not there, in fact we vowed not to admit that we saw this trash. Should have been an R. Sex was not the problem it was not funny most of the time and the sex jokes were more than tasteless, this has to be the worst movie I've seen in many years. Crude can sometimes be funny and we sometimes like potty jokes but again this went too far, and the lack of laughter in the theater indicated we were not the only ones who found it often in poor taste and stupid. It had lots of potential and often looked like it was going to get better. Too bad they did not stick to the story and knock off the crap they often through in for no reason.

  Best movie since Happy Gilmore

  This movie kicked so much "schnitzel", I could not believe it. The terms used in this movie will be praised for time to come at parties and get togethers across the nation. You must go see this action packed comedy that spins joke after joke again. By far one of the best comedies I have seen in a long time. I have been using fandango for show times and tickets for years, and have never written a review. This movie earned the right for my blessed words. Forget what all these naysayers are talking about and just GO SEE IT!

  I am an Adam Sandler fan, but I found this movie to contain too much perverse sexual humor. Did not appeal to me. You should wait to rent the DVD or get it on Netflix. Do not waste good money on a ticket and popcorn!!!!!!!!!!! I wa expecting so much more, what a dissappointment!

  Tied with Talladega Nights for the Funniest Mover EVER!

  This movie had me rolling with laughter from start to finish! Not for the sensitive viewer (contains non-stop racial and sexual humor) this film contains some crude elements but is done in such a way that the audience does not feel awkward watching. About 2/3 of the jokes revolve around Adam Sandler's crotch. This film has a different feel to it than Sandler's old movies and in my opinion (and all my friends who went with me) it is by far his best yet. This film raises the standard of comedies. If you liked Talladega nights, Zoolander, and Hot Rod, you will be astounded by the comedic genius that is "You Don't Mess With the Zohan!"

  The movie was gross. I had my teenage children with me and had to leave the theater with them.
  
  The continued portrayals of Zohan's sexual intercourse with old women may have been funny once or twice as implied acts, but to graphically depict it was stupid.
  
  It sends the message that any kind of sex with anyone is "just fun" even on the job. While one may argue that the film is a comedy and not to be taken seriously, sub-messages like that come through anyway.

  I love Adam Sandler....

  Be prepared for alot of sexual/dumb humor....but if u'r going to the theater to laugh at rediculousness...This is your movie..
  p.s. Don't bring young children to this movie.

  You dont go see the Zohan

  I went to this movie, like I go to all movies of this genre. In a silly mood, ready to laugh till it hurts and just wanting to be entertained. What I got was no where close! I knew this was just a silly comedy, but I am still waiting for the comedy part. They made fun of every Jew vs Arab stereotype and that was ok, but few were funny. This movie was boring and lacked the big laughs I had hoped for. SANDLER can do better than this. He has and I feel certain he will again.
