This is another masterpiece by Akira Kurosawa which is delightful to watch. This one inspired and was remade into a western “Fist Full of Dollars” which made a star out of Clint Eastwood. The plot is simple. Two sides and both are the bad ones except Mifune (Toshira Mifune, Kurosawa favorite lead man), the talented swordfighter who saves the town from the bad guys. Mifune’s acting is first place who masters to place his dingy character (first impression) as virtuous and champion of the oppressed.
