Saw Wreck-It Ralph yesterday with spouse and seven-year-old son. Really enjoyed it. Entertaining story for young and old alike, and great voice talent from John C. Reilly and Jane Lynch. Very nostalgic for those of us movie goers who enjoyed the first arcade games in the very early 1980s.

This movie was everything I wanted it to be plus so much more. I saw this with my girlfriend who didn't play as many video games as a kid like I did, and she has just as much fun watching. The storyline is super cute but is sprinkled with tons of throwback jokes and awesome game scenarios. Even a little celeb role for Skrillex for all you electronic music buffs. Hands down a great movie to see in theaters. I rarely see movies while they're showing and this is definitely one I'd recommend. Great for date night, family night or just on a whim. You won't be let down.

This is a gamers' movie, just a little bit on the children friendly side. If you like video games and you like Disney, then check out this movie. I liked it a lot. I would like to play a game like this. Kingdom Hearts has no excuse not to use this.

True, I was there for the advent of "Pac-Man" and faithfully rode my bike to the arcade every chance I got to battle it out with my "besties" for a "Top Ten" score, but OH this movie took me back. In my mind's eye, I kept interchanging "Donkey Kong" and "Wreck-it-Ralph" but it was such an engaging story, I just went with it and enjoyed the ride. I wondered a few times if Seth Rogen was even alive when Pac-Man came out, then later found out John C. Reilly actually voiced "Ralph". I was pleasantly surprised! The story is well-plotted and lends vision to the age-old pondering of children, such as, "Could Superman beat up Mighty Mouse?" and "What if all the video game characters knew each other in real life?" Well, this film lets you take a journey down that very path. My personal favorite was at the "Bad-Anon" meeting when Ralph admitted he wanted to be "good" and Clyde (the orange ghost) turns into (the blue ghost on the run from Pac-Man). Ha ha - I loved it! Don't miss it! =)
