I'll start by saying that my sensitive 9yr old did not like this movie and was crying at the sad part in the movie. If you have a sensitive child who doesn't like commotion in a movie this is not the movie for them.
My husband and I enjoyed the film and thought the plot was clever and entertaining. This wasn't your typical happy go lucky kids movie.

It's really geared for younger kids, but I had fun reminiscing with the different video game characters from my youth. It's fun to watch and, even though the intended audience is younger kids, I had a lot of fun and thought the message was invaluable. I like that this movie addressed bullying and taking chances.

My husband, 15 year old son and I went to see this over the weekend and thought it was great! It was a great family movie!

Everyone's felt played as a bad guy, outsider, at least once in life -- well, that is Ralph's life and he's tired of it. So he sets off in an adventure that plays old school video with new school themes...very rewarding and thoughtful combination.
The kids will like the 'sugary' sweetness that doesn't get too syrupy...and the sadness that comes from losing a favorite toy. This movie hits high marks for all ages.
The gamers will like the mix of characters and the Bad-anon group is a howl for the older crowed bringing the kids too a 'kids' movie. My wife and I laughed in a few places when the 'kids' were left out and our son along with the other younger people enjoyed a quickly told potty joke mixed into the action.
A terrific Disney film...we're looking for the DVD when released. Its that good.

Took my 4-year-old nephew and from our discussion following the movie he go it, which is good considering I thought it was cute, had a good message and even had a few laughs myself.
