Awesome movie. I think that I enjoyed more than my 5 year old son who also loved it. This movie is like heaven for your eyeballs. Being an artist this movie and its great animation gave me a ton of inspiration. The characters were great and there were a lot of referances to the games from my day. Great time for the whole family.

The story follows the basic hero formula. The animation is good, the jokes for all ages. There's something here for everyone. Definitely a kid-safe family outing. Overall, it's worth the price of a ticket. See it. You'll be glad you did.

Being a 40+ year old, so many of the nods to original video games was really awesome. So many of the character movements and mannerisms were dead-on. Jane Lynch was perfect as was Jack McBrayer. And finally, Sarah Silverman as Vanellope von Schweetz stole the show and was incredibly adorable!

My 8 year old states: "It is the awesomest movie ever." I concur. Tons of references to childhood favorites. Smart, witty and inspiring. A-one entertainment.

As entertaining as animated movies get! For adults, the movie starts a bit slowly while the underlying story line is explained, but the premise is refreshing and the movie takes off eventually. I laughed, I cried, I caught a few references to movies that were obviously intended for adults only. The colors and animation were as impressive as the high-definition of the picture and the sound was sharp and brilliant. I didn't see any child of any age lose their attention span at this one. Take the was fun!
