The "Roger Rabbit" of the Video Game Generation

While "Wreck-it Ralph" won't win any awards, nor will it probably be a classic for future generations, it achieves its purpose well: providing a non-stop adventure through the cords and bits of a video game universe filled with humor, emotion, and in-jokes for the moms and dads. If you know what the Konami code is, don't miss this film. And, if you know who Pac-man is, don't miss this film. Kids: I took my four year-old to see it in non-3D, and that was a good choice. He was engaged through the whole film... but didn't leave excited. If you have a six to eleven year-old, it's probably right in the pocket for them, boy or girl.

It isn't a kids movie but then it isn't an adult movie so.... A cute movie but I was expecting more. 3D is cool and it does have a plot. Take the kids, sit back and pretend the critics know what they are talking about. Enjoyed an hour or so of no thinking.

Enjoy Wreck-It Ralph With The Family

Saw Wreck-It Ralph yesterday with spouse and seven-year-old son. Really enjoyed it. Entertaining story for young and old alike, and great voice talent from John C. Reilly and Jane Lynch. Very nostalgic for those of us movie goers who enjoyed the first arcade games in the very early 1980s.

When I first saw promotional posters for this movie, I was scratching my head wondering what in the world is Wreck-It Ralph. When the trailer was finally released, I went from what in the world is Wreck-It Ralph to I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE. I took my daughter on opening weekend and she loved it. I was in complete agreement, it has a lot of heart (it was hard not to cry at some parts). All in all, it was definitely worth the price of admission. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and just so I don't have to write another review. I took her to see it again the following weekend. It was even better the second time around.
