Loved it

I think I enjoyed it more than my son did. Its the best Disney movie that I've seen since Cars probably. I'm in my mid30s and this hits home right in the heart of my childhood. Everything from the 8bit characters and music, the arcades, and the classic game characters. I can't wait to own it on bluray.

When I first saw promotional posters for this movie, I was scratching my head wondering what in the world is Wreck-It Ralph. When the trailer was finally released, I went from what in the world is Wreck-It Ralph to I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE. I took my daughter on opening weekend and she loved it. I was in complete agreement, it has a lot of heart (it was hard not to cry at some parts). All in all, it was definitely worth the price of admission. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and just so I don't have to write another review. I took her to see it again the following weekend. It was even better the second time around.

Enjoy Wreck-It Ralph With The Family

Saw Wreck-It Ralph yesterday with spouse and seven-year-old son. Really enjoyed it. Entertaining story for young and old alike, and great voice talent from John C. Reilly and Jane Lynch. Very nostalgic for those of us movie goers who enjoyed the first arcade games in the very early 1980s.

Fun for kids and adults!

They could have edited a few more things out like the 2 'passionate' kisses and some of the put-downs (althouh you had to be paying really close attention to hear them all) which were not at all necessary. I think it was a funny, creative movie with a good message. I checked Common Sense Media before I left and although it had an age '7' noted, my almost 5-yr old was ok there because of the fast talking and she couldn't catch some of the wise cracks fast enough to repeat them. She also was not as familiar with many of the 'old-school' characters to appreciate the creativity. But if you're looking for one to take all the kids (about ages 4/5 and up), you'd be ok with this choice. It is definitely action-packed for girl and boys.
