Unique twist on video games. Amazingly, managed to get me liking the characters. Interesting plot turns. Who would think you could say such a thing about an animation like this. Yes, a bit sappy, but simple, fun, escapist entertainment that will make you smile and may even wet an eye momentarily.

Enjoyed this movie a lot with my 8 year old and 10 year old. Good storyline, great animation and lots of laughs (even a tear or two!).

Blasts from the past

9 year old daughter wanted to go see this with her friend - caught me off guard it was about the world inside of arcade video games. Quite the reminiscent blast from the past game references that the kids don't catch - but they had a great time and I did too. I don't like 3D movies, but this one was very enjoyable. Very creative, unique spin on words and references....John Lasseter had a part in production, who was a founder of Pixar....so you know it's a great movie!

Not Your Average "Kids" Movie

My whole family really enjoyed Wreck-It Ralph. This movie isn't much like the way it is being advertised. It is funny in parts, but it is mostly a heartwarming tale about outcasts, being true to who you are, and the potential that lies in all of us. Some of the themes and messages younger kids may not understand, but although she sat intently watching, my tween (11) loved it and caught all they were trying to portray. This movie should definitely be on your go see list. Enjoy!!

Retro & heart warming

Great story told in a way that is reminiscent of the great Pixar stories. John Lasseter's finger prints are indelibly stamped all over the narrative. The story is poignant form an adult point of view and filled with enough eye candy to get all the oohs and aahs you'll want from your kids. I loved seeing all of my own childhood gaming "friends" coming back for some screen time. My daughter and I had to sit down in front of the computer back home so she could learn about Q-bert and others.
