Best movie I've seen in a while

I was a little hesitant when I heard the critics had given this movie only two stars, I'm glad that didn't stop me. I Don't know about you, but when I go to the movies I'm looking for entertainment and I got it! I laughed , I cried, I enjoyed it very very much!

Action Filled, Visually Intense, Worth It's Ticket Price.

Obviously manufactured for a specific audience demographic, what this film lacks in technical originality it more than makes up for in visual entertainment value. The nonstop action from beginning to end makes it more of an experience than a play. What dialogue is there is tightly written and appropriate to the scene. The one prevailing impression this viewer takes away from this sitting is FIRE, FIRE and more FIRE. So much in fact that you may have trouble seeing orange for several hours afterward. Still, it's not a bad flick and if you're in to action fantasy, this is a decent choice. It's way too intense for small kids, otherwise see it. You won't be disappointed.

    Wrath of the Titans

This movie is definitely an improvement over Clash of the Titans but don't expect any award winning writing or directing. Apparently in the version of Greek history the ancient Greeks spoke with an Australian accent.

    WRATH OF THE TITANS

Good action movie, good story line. Only thing I didn't like was the fast photography switching from one area to another at times. Otherwise loved it! Even my 10 year old daughter couldn't keep her eyes off the screen!

    Subtitles

It is a shame I need subtitles to see an American movie. Because of all foreign actors it is hard to understand what they say because of the thick accents.

    expected more

So after seeing wrath of the titans i am unimpressed. The first movie i liked for just being entertaining and the fact the kraken looked amazing. THis movie destroys greek gods in a not great way. The most positive thing i can say about this film is kronos looked great in imax. This film looked like it was hurried and had no idea what it was trying to do. Plus i did not see a lot of wrath the titans were incredably powerful and would have destroyed a lot more then they did. Perseus would have had a lot more problems solving the problems in this film. If you go effects great story non existent why Ralph Fiennes and Lliam Neeson agreed to be in this move is beyond my recollection. They are too good to waste there talents on this. Al in all a renter when it comes out on dvd dont waste the money on the theater unless it is in imax and then the effects have to bee seen to be believed any where else eeh.

    Go Get Your Wrath On!

    by

    A spectacular movie!

The special effects are probably the best I've ever seen - VERY realistic!

I was able to watch this movie in 3D, but on a small screen. While it does not have too many scenes "jumping out" at you, it has A LOT of depth throughout the whole movie. And when those scenes that "jump out" at you come up, they really do "jump out" at you! (Both I and my friends swayed and jumped in our seats a few times!)

The acting was good and the script flowed very nicely. As usual, Liam Neeson brought his usual depth of character with him. I honestly think he portrayed Zeus much better in this film than in Clash of the Titans. Sam Worthington once again filled the role as Perseus, and this time seemed much more "human." And Rosamund Pike (Queen Andromeda) was as beautiful as ever.

All in all, there was a lot of action, quite a bit of comedy (as usual in modern action flicks), and a good amount of thrills & drama.

    This is one to see!

    overdone

    by gdub847

I think the makers of this movie basically took a dump on greek mythology and made it into a movie. Special effects were cool, but they story line was trash. The plot took you all over the place and I was never able to connect with the movie. For some reason the gods can die in this movie, and I thought that was ridiculous. And, Kronos is a giant fire demon of some kind. There is no way that it works out genetically for him to produce zues, hades, and poseidon. Ultimately, I hated this movie and it wasn't worth ten bucks.

Could have been better, but fun none-the-less

The acting was mediocre, and there was a plot but it was very underdeveloped within the movie. It felt like the creators wanted to use high-action and special effects to carry things with weak interactions between characters. Overall flow felt like you were being "pushed through the story" rather than taking it in and I felt they should have extended the length to put in more interactions and growth of the characters.
Despite that, it was a fun movie and I would watch it again. The special effects, action sequences and fun factors were all there.

Redemption and more in "Wrath of the Titans"

Although a lot of movie critics out there seem to dislike the computer imagery, you can't help but immerse yourself in the story. I definitely liked Perseus' humanity and vulnerability, yet his bravery and courage is what gets him through (besides the love of his son). I thought the Ares' character could've been expanded a bit more to flesh out his personaility. But all in all, it was definitely worth the time and money. Oh, and watch out for a special cameo from the Jar-Jar Binks equivalent of this series.

    Ok movie

The movie was ok. Personally I liked the first one better, the Clash of the Titans. I thought the story line to that movie was much better than this one. I saw the first movie in 3D and this one in 2D and I really don't see any need to see it in 3D. I think that's a waste of money. The acting was pretty good. I think the movie was for any age. Not one of my favorite movies but it wasn't terrible either.

wish it slowed down a bit

This movie had wonderful CGI, but there was so much going on it was hard to follow the story line. Things were moving so fast in parts it was hard to see the details. There was an awesome monster that I kept wanting to see the detail in the face, but it didn't stop moving long enough see.
It is a great guy movie with lots of explosions and fighting. I usually like this kind of stuff too, but there was just to much of it. Needed to slow down more in parts and have more of a story to it. Again, awesome CGI.

Its the same as the first one

    by

As always, i thoroughly enjoyed the effects, the visuals were amazing. However just as the first one, i didn't find the story particularly interesting and kept wishing that all the humans could go away so that it was just focused on the Gods. Hades, Zeus, and Poseidon all had interesting relationships but Perseus and Andromeda were awkward.
