Usually i skip seeing any zobie movie in theaters but this movie was epic. it had a great story line a littl comedy an wonder ful edge of your seat action. Brad did a fantastic job and his character was not over the top skilled but realistic and lucky.

World War Z

I didn't know what to expect of this movie but I figured with Brad Pitt and zombies, how could you lose? It was very suspenseful without being gory. The zombies were creepy and really fast! The story was pretty good and the ending left you hanging which means there must be a sequel in the works! PG-13 was appropriate but some younger kids could probably handle it. I recommend this movie to zombie lovers!

Bottom line, a silly movie with lots of special effects. There are some scary moments, particularly in the start, but the movie gets bogged down with trying to suspend our disbelief and make us actually think any of the plot is plausible. At one point the zombies, close up, look funny and the audience actually laughs. That's the deathknell, right there.

The ending is LAME!!!!!!!

World War Z aims to be the Spartacus of zombie flicks--it features zombie attacks on a scale never filmed before. Since these are PG-13 zombie attacks there is no gore or flesh eating which will undoubtedly disappoint some, but it's undeniably impressive to watch thousands of zombies swarm cities. World War Z is a movie of spectacular set pieces without much in the way of connective tissue--basically Brad Pitt travels from place to place and each place he visits is an excuse for another set piece involving rampaging zombies. In spite of the reported 5 screenwriters that's pretty much all that's going on in the movie. Still the set-pieces work so well that the movie is a lot of fun--until the much-ballyhooed and extremely lame new ending which was supposed to give the movie heart but is, in reality, talky, anti-climactic and illogical. I don't know if the original ending with the zombie battle in Moscow worked or not but the new ending most definitely does not.
