3D over-rated, gave me a headache, and really didn't add anything to the film IMAX was worth it. Acting was very good, plot predictable with one good twist involving the "genius" scientist. Excellent depiction of the zombies, very good effect there, and generally the SFX weren't overdone or distracting. I'd rate it a go, because it plays better on the big screen than whatever you have at home using NetFlix...

Great Story!

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed World War Z...The Zombies were the constant threat, however, the movie did a fantastic job of building upon the story & character development rather than go for the cheap "gotcha/audience-just-jumped" genre of movie. When my wife thought Zombies, she thought, Horror Movie...low budget, cheap thrill, here we go...but, instead, she was pleasantly surprised to learn that Brad Pitt & company pulled off a huge feat not yet seen with most Zombie movies...a solid plot that made you buy into the next part of the story & wanting more afterward. Lastly, we just checked out the movie in IMAX 3D & Loved It!! Hope you Enjoy!

Fast paced entertaining movie

Brad Pitt was awesome in this movie. The 3D experience enhanced the nail-biting attack of the zombies. You will not want to get up to go to the bathroom and miss anything. It is almost 2 hours of total entertainment and excitement. The only thing I did not like about the movie was the ending. Just kinda left you hanging rather giving closure. I won't say anything more so I won't be a spoiler. The special effects were great. I recommend this movie and I recommend seeing it in 3D.

World War Z

I was totally disappointed in this movie. Couldn,t keep up with where he (Brad Pitt) was? All over the world, and then a plane crash?? Whole thing was a complete disappointment. Some of the cinematography was just ok, the 3-d part of it was terrible, there was no 3-d to it. I would say this film might be ok for kids, with big dreams. We are in our 60,s, just wasn,t the film for me. Expected more from Brad Pitt, a favorite actor of mine.

Not your typical zombie movie

This isn't your typical zombie movie, with cheesy effects and tons of gore. But what it is, is something that is unique, with a storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. This film is full of intensity, and there are some parts that may be scary but if you're older than 11 or 12 this movie should be one not to forget! This is a great film to see in theaters, it's not the same watching it from home so go out there and buy a ticket!
