Unexpectantly good.

Much like the movie Garden State, this movie was unexpectedly good. It is sensitive meaningful. Illustrating the best qualities of a family and aspiring to the best qualities of parenting. Highly recommend.

Best I've seen in years!

There are very few words that I could use to accurately describe this movie. Incredible. Amazing. Beautiful. Moving. Yes! Absolutely moving. A must see. I haven't seen a movie like this in years. It is truly something everyone should see. No matter what. I don't care if you're 13 or 83. I was (and am) a fan of Garden State, but this movie blows that out of the water. Zach Braff wrote this movie based on the experiences of people. Normal people. People who may or may not be struggling with something personal in their lives; challenges that confront us all regularly. Life, death, purpose. If anyone doesn't like this movie, they don't have a heart or a soul. There are few movies that exist that really tell a story and bring you in to their world like this. 10 stars (and perhaps 10 boxes of kleenex).

I've been waiting anxiously for this movie to hit theaters near me and I snagged a ticket to the very first showing in my area. I was understandably excited considering I was one of thousands of backers who whole-heartedly supported Zach Braff during his Kickstarter campaign. Zach has, once again, proven himself as a brilliant artist, both on and off screen. The story wasn't the typical Hollywood picture of a family. These characters were real people, with real lives and real problems - something I could relate to personally. Through the struggles, they sought out acceptance and love from one another. As the story unfolded, I found myself smiling, laughing, and crying as I saw threads of my own family in Aidan's. The locations were absolutely perfect and the camera work was impeccable. I'm amazed at how much beauty Zach and the crew members were able to put onto the screen in only 25 days. Each actor played their role wonderfully and I was completely sucked into the world Zach created. I'm already looking forward to owning my own copy of the movie just as soon as it hits shelves. Thank you, Zach, for allowing me to be a small part in this amazing piece of art. If you're Jewish, see the movie. If you're not, then be prepared to either be educated or bored. Obviously, I am a member of the tribe.
