    Wild Horse Wild Ride

    A great documentary for anyone especially animal lovers. The movie evokes emotion in the viewers by showing the struggles, passion, patience and selflessness of the people who train the Mustangs for the competition, (which at times is a real tear-jerker). Living in Texas I'm lucky enough to get to go to the Extreme Mustang Makeover every year, and I am also the proud owner of a wild Mustang.
    On the other hand, at the beginning of the movie I would've liked to see more about the history of the Mustangs. This would've helped expose the viewers of how it all came to be that the Mustangs are now being taken off their lands, being held in facilities and adopted out - all with our taxpayers dollars. Not saying I wanted this to be a political film and it's more than likely they wouldn't have been able to get funding if they included all that in the film, but most people don't have any clue of how or why the Mustangs are up for adoption and what a travesty it is.

    Wild Horse, Wild Ride

    A must see movie for horse lovers, owners, trainers--or anyone who lives anything horses. Adopting a mustang is one of my goals and this movie taught me a lot. First, there is no "right way". Every person who competed in the Mustang Makeover had their own way of training his/her horse and dealing with their frustrations. Ultimately each had to understand, and accept, the unique personality of the horse before any real progress could be made. In the end, it takes a LOT of patience and persistence. Second...it's not rocket science. With enough knowledge, love and patience you can get somewhere with these animals. It may not necessarily happen in 100 days, but in each case there was magic.
