    A MUST SEE!!!

I am a fan of MMA so I went to see the movie not expecting much but some good fight scenes. I walked out of the movie with tears in my eyes (yeah, I cried a little). The movie is great. The fight scenes are very good, so guys you will not be disappointed. Women, this movie will strike your emotional chords (Don't worry guys...it's in a good way). Overall, a very well done movie. The last scene will twist your heart, especially if you have a sibling. Guys, a very good date movie (Without losing your man card). Ladies, a movie you don't know you want to see. This is the first review I have ever written...it's that good.

Better then all the Rocky Movies combined

This movie is awsome. Great storyline action emotions life its all in the Mix. Don't go see it and it will be your loss. It may look like just a bad *** fight movie but if I had 2 words to accuratley capsulizes this film it would be, "Recconcileation and Forgivness".

    so-so?!

    by

don't listen to the s0-s0 crap. it from a bunch of people who didn't even go see it. Trust me. Its one of the best of the year. I pride myself in never shedding a tear(Old Yeller was the last). Not once, and I have seen alot o movies. I was leaking from both eyes by the end. The story, acting( emotinaly hit ya just as hard as the fists that fly), Nick is getting a statue for sure. Tom... awesome actor. Im pumped for Batman now... just to see him as bain. It was real, gritty... a must go. I hate paying $10 per ticket... I got 2 and it was worth every penny of my hard earned money.

Best of the Best fighting Movies! Tops it all!

    by

I'm speechless simply speechless. From beginning to end this movie keeps you going, it keeps you interested, and it centers its attention on the main concept of the movie. 2 brothers, both fighters, both fighting for something, two different styles of fighting. Its awesome and I gottah say one of the best UFC MMA fighting movies out there. You got to brothers who are separated at a young age. One is a struggling teacher trying to support his family and the other brother is so filled with rage, on the run from the military and trying hard to keep a promise he made to a fallen soldiers family. They are reunited at an MMA fighting tournament, where they battle they're way to the top knocking off the best contenders. Its just an all around awesome kick *** movie and you have GOT TO GO SEE IT!

    Action and heart

Was expecting just an action movie but it had a great story. Also everything wasn't given away in the commercial. I really enjoyed the movie will likely get when it comes out to Blu-ray it didn't need to be seen in a theater to fully appreciate

    Kinda slow going

The movie had a good message but it took forever to get there. I was really looking forward to seeing this when the trailers were playing but the movie did not live up to the hype. My wife was yawning, I was trying to stay interested and if I hadn't paid full price for the tickets I would have probably left.

Sad as I thought this had an opportunity to shine but it just never got there for me.

    lets go to war

Really enjoyed this movie, not really what you expect but satisfying all the same - Tom Hardy deserves an Oscar just for that neck, he looked insane! Also the American accent was kinda impressive.

Just shut up and look at the acting!

Difficult to rate, must-go for the dazzling Tom Hardy alone. I've been following him for years- Wuthering Heights, Oliver Twist, Bronson, Sweeny Todd. He's easily in the running for finest actor of his generation. He gives the kind of performances that don't quit- so much magnetism, with a range of ferocious power & chilling coldness to touchable vulnerability and humanity. But this may be his best work yet! He's so moving in the end. Also note his chameleon touch for accents! But Must-Go is a deceptive rating, implying that is a 5 star film when I don't think that at all! Its a fairy tale story. If you've seen ANY dramas before you can predict what's lurking around every corner in the writing. Next his opposite Joel Edgerton's terrible, his expression's flat and unchanging, the character ends up simplistic and preachy. Though this is midigated some by Nick Nolte's good acting. Engaging, the fights are nail-biting, the dialogue's snappy, but its a so-so movie with only must-go acting.

Movie Review of Warrior Pt. 1

Gripping, sad, fear, pity and euphoria are some key emotions often found in a good drama. It does not appear to be a coincidence that all of these emotions, and many more, can be felt while watching Gavin O?Connor?s film titled Warrior which was released in September of 2011. This film appears to outsiders as a film revolved around nothing more than mixed martial arts fighting; however, this film is much more and brings an extremely well written storyline to its audience in a manner that makes this film one of the better movies in recent years.

The movie involves two brothers and a father that have all lost connection with one another. The father is a recovering alcoholic that use to abuse their mother, one brother named Brendan is a school teacher that has started a family of his own, and the other brother named Tommy is an ex-marine that appears to be depressed and suffering from post traumatic stress.
