A favorite of mine from the beginning! Everyone who is of the younger generation should see this.A cautionary tale of surrendering too much power to technology. Any tech geek will love the vintage computers and rudimentary gadgets used in this film. A fantastic film to watch with your kids and teens(they will get a kick out of the scene where he connects through a telephone)
This movie broke new ground as a movie about hacking into high security sights, auto-dialing, program 'back-doors' and the like. I remember it was a pretty riveting movie....kept us engrossed...and, I think it will be worth seeing it again....sort of a cult feature...viewed from the other side now....now that we DO live in technology soup and spend our days on computers, clearing out spam from our email accounts and fighting malware and viruses! Now that we have had many high-profile hacking cases and I'm sure some close calls we'll never hear about....
I had a great time especially since I went with someone that I knew from that same time as the movie.
I love this movie when I was young and I loved seeing it on the big screen again. I wish my theather would run classic movies more often.
The movie ended about 20 minutes early and the theatre didn't even dim all the lights during the movie.
